A portion of the taxes paid to the Ontario government by the Ontario tax paying public are allocated to education. It is important to the taxpayer to know that their money is being well spent. It is time to hold the government and our educational institutions accountable for what they spend. A system needs to be implemented that will track these expenses, break them down and report back to each and every Ontario tax payer so they can see how much money they contributed to the educational system and where it was all spent. This has been done for health care and can certainly be done for education.
